This cozy cowl is made with two-color brioche in alternating gradient yarns and a stepped columnar pattern. Brioche adds an element of squishiness making this an exceptionally soft and cozy cowl when worked in our US Merino Minikins. Note: Though this is not a difficult project, some familiarity with brioche is required for this pattern.

- Shown here worked up in four Freia Yarns ombré Minikins in colors Lucky Penny, Hayride, Chaparral and Damask – 25g each (approx. 107 yards per ball)
- US 4 / 3.25mm circular needle
- Approx 8½” tall, 36” diameter
- All written directions
- Skills: Knit, purl, prior brioche experience strongly suggested. (there are many good reference videos available online if you need a refresher)
