Atelier – Giving Back
Giving Something Back
With our move to the Berkshires I have come to see and appreciate how strong the sense of community is here. Everyone knows everyone, families have lived here for generations and are deeply entwined. When disaster strikes everyone steps up.. It is moving, refreshing and, thankfully, contagious.
Our new studio space was planned with the aim of having a small corner to serve as an Atelier, where visitors could stop in and shop a little, get a peek at the workings of the dye studio and see some yarns they’d never seen.
Embracing the powerful ethic of giving something back, our Atelier will serve double duty – getting knitters the yarn they’d perhaps only dreamed of, and helping in the community that is the Berkshires of Western Mass. Every time we have an Open Studio Day we will donate 15% of all sales to a local organization or fundraiser.
We are currently open most Saturdays from 10-2pm, it’s always a good idea though to check our postings on instagram to make sure we’re open the Saturday you are interested in visiting. We can be available by appointment on most weekdays between 10am and 4pm – please email us to arrange a time.
