    We’ve made bundles of our Merino Fingering gradients combined with our locally grown and exclusive Tewksbury Hill Farm yarn for a wondrously lush and soft scarf or shawl.

    TECHNIQUES:
    Techniques used are garter, stockinette stitch and short-rows. A continuous i-cord edge frames the entire work and slipped stitches create irregularly spaced linear columns along the vertical length of the scarf.

    This multi-colored, sideways constructed shawl designed by Andrea Mowry takes on a new look with Freia’s signature gradient yarns. Each bundle contains six balls of our Ombre Sport (large kit) or our Minikins (small kit) with a suggestion as to sequencing.

    The Sport weight shawl measures approximately 62″ wingspan and 40″ deep.

    Fox Paws is a stunning design by mastermind Xandy Peters worked in their signature stacked stitches method. This version shown here is extra, extra large and is knitted using five 100g Merino Fingering Shawl Balls. We’ve used three gradients and two semi solids in our project.

    The Autumn Hues Shawl Ball sample (main image) has 4 additional pattern repeats in width (9 repeats total) and was worked until only enough yarn remained to bind off. The width as shown here is 23″ with a length of 96″.

    Optionally you could choose our Sport yarn, at 217 yards per ball and work the pattern as written which will get you a project closer in size to the dimensions of the original design
