Two coordinating gradient US Merino Shawl Balls or Sport US wool balls and the Coalescence pattern packaged in a clear zippered carry bag. This will make a large twisted Mobius type cowl – the twist is optional. Pattern is easy to follow with simple knit and purl rows, a great kit for new knitters. Gauge is not critical. Each Shawl Ball is 430 yards of single-ply, custom-spun 100% US mulesing-free merino. The Sport yarn is US Wool, 217 yds/ball. All yarns are hand dyed by us in North Adams, MA. Hand Wash.
Suggested Needles: US 6 (4mm) 32” circular for fingering OR US8 (5mm) 32″ circular for sport (not included in kit)
Gauge: Fingering yarn: 24 sts/40 rows = 4” OR Sport Yarn: 20 sts/36 rows= 4″
Colors: Aurora/Chameleon, Pixie/Lichen, Woodsman/Sprout
The Sport Kit will make a slightly smaller cowl (shown in Pixie/Lichen).

Tanis Gray has done it again! This Fair Isle cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up. Flanked by corrugated ribbing, this cowl’s palette runs hot and cold by using two Freia ombré yarns. The gradient works its magic and makes it look like you do more work than you actually have to!

These little kits contain the yarn and pattern for the scrumptious Sidestep Two-Color Brioche Cowl. This cozy cowl is made with two-color brioche in alternating gradient yarns and a stepped columnar pattern. Brioche adds an element of squishiness making this an exceptionally soft and cozy cowl when worked in our US Merino minikins. Note: Though this is not a difficult project, some familiarity with brioche is required for this pattern. Designed by Tina Whitmore.
