Description

With over 400 yards you will find enough yarn to create a medium sized shawl that is light but warm. Use two and you will have a large warm shawl or wrap to see you through the chilliest of days. Our gradients transition smoothly keeping you engaged and enthralled as you work on your project!

Our custom-spun single-ply merino is grown on small farms in the Rockies and milled in North Carolina. The yarn is hand-dyed at our studio in North Adams with acid dyes using processes that are gentle to the environment. The yarn is untreated so it must be washed by hand or it will felt. Though a single you will find it strong as our dyeing process very gently felts the yarn making it durable enough to handle the maneuvering of cables, lace and of course, tinking. When attaching one ball to the next, wet-splicing will give you a smooth, invisible and reliable join.

This is among the most wonderful yarn I have worked with. The colors are absolutely beautiful and the gradient flows smoothly from one shade to the next. Thank you for the pleasure of knitting with such lovely yarn. Linda
