Description
A 100% wool yarn blend of Rambouillet, Corriedale and Columbia wool from sheep raised in Colorado. The fibers are worsted spun into a single-ply yarn that is surprisingly strong, yet still lofty. The fibers have a micron count of 22-24 making it soft to the touch, and yet it retains its artisanal nature, emphasized by our hand dyeing technique. Our sport is great for felting – we suggest hand washing only for non-felted items.

Impressed with fast shipping. Beautiful yarn, though I overlooked the fiber content of the sport weight and didn’t realize that it wasn’t merino. I have ultra sensitive skin and merino is one of the few fibers that I can tolerate around my neck. I won’t be using this yarn for a cowl; I’ll save it for another project. I went back to the site and found the same color in merino. Though a lighter weight, it works fine for the pattern. Both yarns are gorgeous. Highly recommend!
