Polar Arc is engineered specifically for gradient and self striping yarns. The structure exploits the properties of fabric worked on the bias and reinforced heel stitch to create a heel without a heel turn. Unlike with other sock patterns, you don’t get a break in hue or pattern across the instep because the heel is completely integrated with the body of the sock.
