Description
Our single-ply merino is grown on small farms in the Rockies and milled in North Carolina. The yarn is hand-dyed at our studio in North Adams with acid dyes using processes that are gentle to the environment. The yarn is untreated so it must be washed by hand or it will felt.

I like the colors of this yarn. I am finding that at least the first one of the three I bought is a bit more like thin roving than twisted yarn. It actually came apart while knitting, and I had to use a spit splice to get it back together (in the middle of a lace stitch). I’ve not had that happen with Freia yarns before.
