This cozy hat is made with two-color brioche in alternating gradient yarns and a stepped columnar pattern. Brioche adds an element of squishiness making this an exceptionally soft and cozy hat when worked in our US Merino minikins. Note: Though this is not a difficult project, some familiarity with brioche is required for this pattern.

- Shown in Harvest and Pixie fingering Minikins – 1 each color
- Finished size approximately 19” diameter and 8 1/2” tall unstretched. Will comfortably fit a range from Adult small (18”) to Adult Large (22”).
- Gauge: 16 rounds and 21 stitches over 4” before blocking.
- Needles: 3.5mm circular needles (US 4)
- You will need one set US4 3.5mm 20″ circular needles or longer for magic loop method, modify as needed for DPNs, 4 removable stitch markers and a tapestry needle.
- Required Skills: Knit, Purl, basic brioche knowledge helpful.
