Description
Our single-ply worsted yarn is a fantastic workhorse yarn. Perfect for warm accessories or a rustic sweater in larger quantities. Gradient balls are 75g and semi-solids are 100g.
In every batch of yarn we dye there are generally a couple skeins that just aren’t up to snuff. Often we use our rejects to make knitted samples, but we have accumulated a lot and need to get rid of them!
These listings are for items that do not meet our strict quality standards for selling at full price. They may be underweight, have dye discolorations, black or white spots, knots, thick and thin spots or any assortment of flaws.
The skeins pictured are not necessarily the skein you will receive. If you order multiple skeins please be aware that there may be color variation between them.

I’ve only ever knitted fingering singles and the discontinued Refined line (sport and worsted) from Freia and love them both. I wanted to try the worsted weight single ply yarn hoping they would be soft also. However, thought it is a woolen merino wool, I find the yarn rough and scratchy. Slightly disappointed but will likely use in colorwork for slippers.
